So proud of our juniors embodying our club values in every game - thanks to Basingstoke Hockey Club for hosting us and capturing this lovely moment after the Ladies' Hampshire Cup Final!

They’ve done it!

Ladies’ 1XI triumph in the Hampshire Cup final today!

A tough Wi******er side picked up an early lead and went into the half time break ahead, but an absolute cracker from Lauren pulled it back to level early on in the second half.

Another quick goal from Wi******er meant that our girls had to dig deep to get back into the game, but a counter attack from a loose pass and a late challenge in the circle resulted in a penalty stroke which was calmly dispatched for Lauren’s 2nd goal of the game and the leveller!

The rest of the game was end to end, with chances for both teams, but a penalty corner coolly converted by Lou put Southampton ahead for the first time with 10 to go!

Wi******er piled on the pressure in an attempt to pull one back, but some heroic defending all across the park kept the score at 3-2 to Southampton at the final whistle!

Congratulations to the Ladies’ 1XI on some well deserved silverware, and a huge thanks to everyone that came out to support!

I know you're all raring to go for summer league, but there is one more game left of the season proper, and it's MASSIVE!

Ladies' 1XI take on Wi******er in the Hampshire Cup final and Down Grange this bank holiday Monday at 13:45!

It would be great to see as many of you there as possible to support!

Southampton Men's AXI (Cockburns) travelled to Worcester last weekend for their 26th consecutive end of season tour (apart from covid!)

They can't manage 3 games in a weekend these days, so some of them played golf on Friday to warm up for their games against different Worcester HC vets sides.

In two highly competitive games, SHC won 6-3 on Saturday and rallied strongly on Sunday to narrowly miss out 3-4 to a very strong supervets side.

A great tour yet again with many WAG's joining us once more. Marred only by a nasty ball on the head injury to Mark D***s. He did well to get back for our own end of season dinner at the hotel, where skipper Tim Merrill was sacked and Ronnie Mascarenhas appointed as next seasons captain!

What. A. Night.

We celebrated the end of another incredible season on Saturday with a glammed up evening of awards, prizes and dancing!

Congratulations to everyone that won an award or picked up a raffle prize, and a huge thanks to everyone that helped bring the night together and to for hosting us once again!

Cup semi-final alert!

The Ladies’ 1XI take on Southampton University at the sporty in the Hampshire Cup semi-final this Sunday at 11:30.

The weather is looking pretty perfect, so it’s a great opportunity to come down and show your support!

A fiercely competitive Ladies' 1XI vs Men's 1XI match, some fun club friendlies and a delicious BBQ was just what we needed in the spring sunshine!

Here it is! This season’s fantasy hockey team of the season!

Great to see all but 3 of our teams represented across the team of the season and the honourable mentions, and some absolutely massive individual seasons, but it’s no surprise that the Ladies’ 3XI dominates the landscape with 6 representatives across the two teams after a hugely successful season for the squad!

We’ll be rounding up the points and stats of this year’s fantasy hockey team of the season tomorrow night at 6pm!

Now that the final fantasy hockey eligible games of the season have been completed and all the stats have been double checked, we can finally announce the winners of this season’s fantasy hockey!

Congratulations to Archie who takes home 1st prize with a giant 60 point lead! Noah’s last few week charge has earned him 2nd place, leapfrogging over the consistent Brenda in the final week to relegate her to 3rd place! The last 2 prizes go to the defender’s union, Loz and Si in 4th and 5th!
