Ten years ago today, my dream to train students, members and competitive boxers every day, all year round, became a reality. I first had the keys to my gym and Pound For Pound was born!

We’ve done 3 years at the bargate centre in town, 2 years in a unit near the football stadium and now 5 years in a unit in Drivers Wharf, Northam. Big thank you to Mr Harding and Questmap. Each time we evolved. Blowing up what what’s working best and dropping the areas that didn’t.

We’ve had amazing people come and go, support the dream, put effort in and left us more developed than when they began their journey with us. This applies to all staff, boxers and young lives who’ve attended.

Ten years ago today I was running around from solicitor building to solicitor building trying to attain the keys in time to move in to the new gym. Now I’m running around attending three different boxing events at weekends for Amateur Home Shows, Hampshire Rep Matches and our own professional boxers climbing the ladder in the world rankings.

Now I’m drawing the line, this is our starting block. Imagine what more we can do in another 10 years! I’m going for it and I have the strongest coaching team behind me than ever! We’re still young and we are coming!
