Do you cook in the outdoors over a fire?

We're running a course specifically to help forest school and outdoor leaders prepare food safely whilst cooking over a fire without running water. You'll also gain a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate and have a delicious campfire lunch as a bonus.

Do you feel confident with food hygiene whilst running a camp or cooking over a fire? Join our Food Hygiene - In the Outdoors course on 11th or 12th September to learn how to keep things clean whilst cooking over a fire without running water.

This course is particularly useful for Scout & Guide leaders, Forest Schools or anyone who enjoys cooking over a fire.

Course is one day from 9am - 5pm and costs £75. Discount available for Scout leaders in Hampshire Scouts (DM us)

Another sunny day at Woodmill and our volunteers have just opened our new courtyard and seating area. ☀️

We were delighted to host a wonderful event celebrating the summer solstice last Sunday evening. The group had a lovely campfire and swim in our lake.

We had our busiest evening yet last night, with Explorer Scouts & Guides both on the water, Beaver Scouts on the Low Ropes and Bushcraft, as well as our usual Tuesday activities for Squirrels and Cubs.

We also had alternative provision on site and a group from a local college camping for their DofE. The start of a busy summer of adventure!
