Woodmill Outdoor Centre

We had our busiest evening yet last night, with Explorer Scouts & Guides both on the water, Beaver Scouts on the Low Ropes and Bushcraft, as well as our usual Tuesday activities for Squirrels and Cubs.

We also had alternative provision on site and a group from a local college camping for their DofE. The start of a busy summer of adventure!

Our volunteers have been working hard to install DarkSky Approved upgrades to our car park lights this weekend. These lights dim up and down when there’s movement to reduce light pollution to a minimum.

As the goslings grow, some parents have brought their fluffballs onto land to enjoy this sunny morning

One of our volunteers has built a ramp to help the goslings get out of the lake! 🪿🐣 We haven’t been close enough to count many of these cute balls of fluff as they have taken up residence on one of our islands.
