Well we've gone and done it! Commiserations to 😆 1st adults! 1st mixed! 2nd overall! 💥
Let us set the scene. It was a picturesque setting at Grafham water, with not a puff of wind in sight and the f***ing cold wetness glistening from the moist mud. It had been an eventful evening with poor Moliver crippled over night in some van, with painkillers as far as the eye could see. Edwina had an inspirational evening at the résidence de Darling and was taught about the art of advertisement by a young boy (see here: http://www.gocrispin.co.uk).
Anyhow, Team Connellan-Brown were feeling good Sunday morning, despite the enraging pain emitting from Molivers back. As we launched into the glazed lake, we waited. And then we waited some more. Then some time went by and we waited some more. Realising that we should live every bit of our lives to the full, we put some of this time to show off our salsa skills to the very impressed fleet of youngsters. Edwina then jumped ship to have a go at some aimless flirting. Unfortunately, the wind began to fill in and Edwina was unable to seal the deal with a final chat up line.
Then we did some racing. Got a 1st in a race after showing who's the boss of downwind speed. Then we got some more good results. But come on, what else would you expect? So yea, we showed those kids how to race! And finished 2nd Overall in front of in 3rd!
We really couldn't of got through this long sailing campaign together without the support of you, our fans. So thank you and remember:
Eastside iz da best!
Go Team Connellan Brown!

What an eventful day, obviously practising timing did not pay off as we only caught the end of the briefing ...
First race was a speedy one with a tactical "ABORT" on the first jibe when our old friends capsized, rooky error! However due to amazing team work and half the fleet capsizing we managed to fit in a double barrelled bullet (aka. 2nd)
After the race due to the fact that the rest of the fleet were not as amazing as us everybody was sent in, we took this opportunity to warm up on land by practising our salsa routine, if you wish to watch our salsa moves please pay £5 to team connellan-brown.
The time we spent ashore was short, we were eager and excited to get out there and give it a good go. As per usual, our start was magnificent and we sped upwind. Unfortunately, the Jib sheet split making it unable to cleat. But fortunately Edwina is a beast so just held the jib got the race on a forgiving 2 to 1 system. We got to the windward mark and Moliver was finally able to show everybody what she was made of. Moliver didn't disappoint by hoisting the kite in spectacular fashion. However team Connellan-Brown did not expect a plot against them from ex partner Matt Rhodes and ex partner (kinda) Andy Kilburn. But it was happening. By purposely aiming their boat at team Connellan-Brown, they took advantage of our natural sportsmanship as we did everything we could to avoid a collision resulting in a capsize. This allowed a few boats to pass, but Team Connellan-Brown were unfazed. Obviously we sailed an absolute blinder to finish in a modest 6th.
The day ended with the fleet caught in a biblical storm. Moliver showed compassion and bravery by sheltering vulnerable Edwina from the Almighty hail. Edwina was grateful. It was an epic finish to a truly epic day in an epic result of 5th overall.

It would seem Team Venables Masterman also can't cope with the prospect of what this weekend brings. How about we forget about the differences between us and find what truly is important here?

Edwina has seduced Masterman. The love she shows for Edwina is too strong. There is no way that they could possibly win.
