How fabulous that many of the breathing techniques we use in yoga have helped people suffering from long covid.
The study wasn’t using yoga teacher but many of the practices are similar. The ENO Breathe is an award-winning online breathing and wellbeing programme developed by English National Opera (ENO)

Nourishing Your Practice
Some of you have kindly noticed that I’ve lost weight recently and asked if I’m unwell. I’m not — in fact, at nearly 62, I feel healthier, stronger, and have more energy than I’ve had in years.
Many of you may not know that I previously worked as a nutritional therapist around London, and for many years I practiced what I preached.
However, after the birth of my second child at 44, alongside menopause, I gradually fell into unhealthy habits and gained three stone over the following decade. In addition to that I was about to become diabetic ! A wake up call and now I have reversed the risk of diabetes I am more than delighted 😁
Yoga teaches us that nourishment is about more than food — it is about awareness, balance, and energy. Recently, I’ve returned to those principles and now try to see every morsel I eat as a way to nourish both body and mind. I still have the occasional slip-up — I’m only human — but I finally feel back on track again.
It is not about dieting or perfection — it is about creating habits that support energy, wellbeing, and longevity.
