SUMMER LEAGUE ☀️

🟠 WEEK 6

🔵 Summer teams Men’s 1s, Men’s 2s and Ladies 2s were all in action this week.

⚪️ Good results for Men’s 2s and Ladies 2s - both came home with hard fought out draws!

🔵 Captain Russell’s breakdown of Men’s 2s match:

Weather added some atmosphere to the evening with distant lightning strikes ⚡️⛈️🌩️, 4 x father sons pitch side, famous half time oranges helped🍊, add in a penalty-flick taken by youth player Greg Hallett 🏑, Billy’s goal 🥳, plenty of chances, a couple of great saves!! Makes for an eventful game 💪

🔵 Southend HC are taking part in a number of summer leagues: Chelmsford, Maldon & Brentwood.
