Formed in 1997 as Southend Manor Youth Football Club and later re-named in 2014 as Southendian Manor YFC the Mini and Junior Sections are thriving and the club now fields approximately 30 teams from U7's through to U18's. We also run a hugely popular "Mini Southendians" training session for 3-6 year olds looking to take their first steps in the footballing world. The club is now operating under the new name of Old Southendian Youth Football Club, as part of an exciting relationship with Old Southendian Football Club, who are one of the oldest and most respected clubs in the Borough, formed in 1900. This affiliation provides all children playing for our teams an "end goal" which will enable the child's football to continue right through to their adult years, at an elite level if they so wish. Our private home venue at Garon Park provides our teams and members with some of the best sporting and social facilities around, including a brand new state of the art 3G pitch and clubhouse. All of our amazing volunteer football coaches are F.A. qualified from a minimum "Level 1" through to "UEFA A" fully CRC checked and are fully qualified First Aiders. So you can be sure your child will receive the best coaching available and in the safest environment possible. Our ethos is "fun and development, over results" and always will be. Children should enjoy playing the game and being part of a team, rather than feel pressured to "win at all costs" and that is the ethos all of our coaches will deliver. Outside of the football, the club runs several social events every season which help to keep that "family" feel to the club. This is on top of any team "bonding" events that most managers arrange during the year.
