🚨 SOUTHEND TRIATHLON MARSHALS NEEDED 🚨
On Sunday 21st June 2026 we bring the Southend Triathlon back to the seafront, and we are looking for 14 more amazing people to help us deliver a brilliant race day.
This is a huge event for Southend, bringing athletes, supporters, families and the local community together for a morning of swimming, cycling, running and proper race day atmosphere.
Without our volunteers and marshals, events like this simply do not happen.
We have various roles available, including registration, swim and transition support, course marshals, finish line support and water station duties. You do not need any experience, just a friendly face, a positive attitude and a willingness to be part of something great for Southend.

Every marshal plays a massive part. Whether you are directing athletes, helping in transition, handing out water, supporting the finish area or simply giving someone a cheer when they need it most, you will be part of what makes the day safe, smooth and unforgettable.
We have also created a dedicated RTC Events Marshals WhatsApp Group so people can easily respond to volunteer requests without endless email chains.
Joining the group does NOT mean you have to help at every event, it simply allows us to contact those interested in volunteering much more efficiently.
