SBU currently play in Divison 1 in the sceptre Sunday league. A good standard of football! We are looking to add a couple of new additions to the team. But must be a good standard 👊🏼

It is with great sadness that we are writing this post.
Our leader, our Manager, our friend and our hero passed away yesterday. This man brought us all together and played a massive part in making us the men we have all become. He created this SBU family and gave us so many precious memories and moments to cherish. From shouting at refs from the sideline on Sundays, to arguments at training, to winning cups and dancing and singing in the changing rooms after, to getting everyone together for nights out, for organising everything we ever did and for helping us all out in our personal life’s when we needed guidance the most. You always did so much for everyone. You leave the biggest legacy behind. You managed and played for so many clubs but your love for SBU and Leigh Town was like no other. We can only thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you ever did gaffer. You changed the life’s of so many for the better. Sleep easy mate. We all love ya 💙💙💙
