& I had a fantastic day yesterday playing in a charity football match raising money for It was the first competitive 11 aside game Mike & I had played in for over 26 years (although these days, we do play 7 aside weekly).

Cool Thing Utd was assembled from friends we have met through music and the love of football and although we didn't win the game, we gave an excellent and well established team a great game.
Final score ended 4 - Utd 3

Currently over £2200 has been raised for this great cause (that shouldn't need to exist). This feeds those unfortunate enough to need to use Southend Foodbank for 1 day! Amazing!

Well done to Mike Webster & Ben Bray for organising the whole event, you should be very proud of yourselves.
