Well played to our Mixed 1st team who won their Mixed Cup semi final 1st leg against Westcliff Hard tonight. They are taking a 2 set lead into the 2nd leg which is to be played at Westcliff Hard on Monday 31/8.

Today the Essex men’s 45s team beat Kent 45s 4-1. They played at Thorpe Bay in lovely conditions and a lively crowd. Well done to Steve Russell, Lee Blackman, Rich Barham, Dave Barham and Dave Tuskin. That’s two wins out of two. Let’s keep believing 👊

Fabulous summer evening for our Ladies American Tournament on Thursday. A great time was had by all. Delicious fish and chips provided by Nessys chippy Shoeburyness.

Jade had a fantastic weekend representing Essex in the Ladies Over 35s County Cup 2026! 🎾

The County Cup is a three-day competition featuring both singles and doubles matches, and this year Jade travelled to the beautiful grass courts at Devonshire Park, Eastbourne.

Competing in Division 3, Essex faced strong teams from Sussex, Hampshire & Isle of Wight, and Berkshire.

The Essex ladies enjoyed a fantastic tournament, playing some excellent tennis throughout the weekend, and successfully retained their place in Division 3! 👏

A huge congratulations to Jade and the entire Essex Ladies team on a brilliant achievement! 🎾

Well done to Stanley Hill for competing at the Play your way to Wimbledon U14 boys singles national finals at Wimbledon this week! It was an amazing experience from start - finish and an opportunity to play against the other counties. Huge thanks to the AELTC for the first-class hospitality, Play your way to Wimbledon organisers for making this experience so special and everyone else helping Stan get there.
