CEDAR AVENUE FC IS BECOMING WICKFORD TOWN MENTAL HEALTH 💚💛
We’re proud to officially announce the next chapter of our journey.
What started as Cedar Avenue FC three years ago and has seen us on a great journey now takes a new direction as we begin a new era under the Wickford Town umbrella.
Our name and badge may be changing, but our purpose remains the same: creating a welcoming, supportive football community where people can enjoy the game, meet others and support their mental wellbeing.
Our weekly football sessions continue every Tuesday evening at Wickford Town FC, now as an official FA Just Play provider.
We’re also taking another huge step forward by entering two teams into the Essex Soccability League Premier Division in which we are looking for new players to come and join us on this journey.
Our monthly fundraising matches will continue too, with the opportunity to host games at our new home ground on Friday evenings.
Our doors are always open for new players to come and join us, whether you want a relaxed weekly kickabout, competitive Soccability football, or simply want to be part of a supportive football community, we’d love to hear from you.
Cedar Avenue FC gave us the foundations. Now, as Wickford Town Mental Health, we’re ready to build something even bigger.
