One year left in my thirties ♡

It's definitely got me reflecting on all sorts of things. How quickly time passes. How far I've come. How much I've learnt and grown — especially over the last couple of years.

I feel so grateful for my yoga practice and all that it continues to teach me. And grateful for the kind, inspiring teachers who have guided and supported me along the way. Spending part of my birthday practising with some of them was a real gift.

Motherhood has brought some of the biggest teachings of my life. It constantly invites me to look inwards and challenges me to become the best version of myself each day. It's beautiful, exhausting, humbling, and deeply rewarding all at once.

This year has also held grief. Losing my nan a few months ago hit me hard. Watching my youngest son share moments with her that I know he won't remember, but that I will carry with me forever, has been both heartbreaking and incredibly precious. Grief has a way of reminding us just how fleeting and sacred this life is, encouraging us to slow down, be present, and hold our loved ones a little closer.

I still feel young, yet older at the same time. Wiser perhaps, whilst knowing there is still so much more to learn and experience. It feels like a really exciting chapter of life — one that has brought joy, challenge, love, loss, growth, and so much gratitude.

Next month I'll be teaching my very first retreat, and I honestly can't wait. I'm buzzing for the opportunity to share practice, community, sunshine, and a little bit of the magic that yoga has brought into my life.

We have a couple of spaces left if you'd like to join me in Crete ♡

A student asked me me recently:

“Practice can feel so hard.
Even turning up is hard most of the time…
does that mean I shouldn’t practice?”

I really felt what she meant. Because practice isn’t always something you feel like doing.
It can feel uncomfortable and challenging.

But that doesn’t mean it’s not working.

In many ways, that is the practice. It can bring up many things and I believe that means its doing its job. It's like a mirror reflecting back at us to look deeper into ourselves and find growth.

The parts I’ve found the most challenging in my own practice have been the things that have changed me the most. Had the most powerful effect on my life and I’ve seen how it’s shaped my life off the mat.

It’s made me a better Mother. Partner. Friend and teacher.

I was bullied at school, and for a long time
I struggled with confidence in myself.

This practice has given me a sense of confidence I never thought I’d have.

Not because it’s easy - but because I kept showing up when it wasn’t. Or kept trying the challenging posture I never thought i'd be able to do. These things shape our character and resilience.

So no - Feeling like it’s hard doesn’t mean you shouldn’t practice.

It might be exactly why it matters.

What has the practice done for you? Look how far you have come. What does it bring the people in your life?
And what does matter is your approach. Am I being too hard on myself? Do I practice letting go if I dont 'complete' a posture to a certain quality? Do I need to soften? Do I need to try a new way, new approach? Try to have a playful approach. Do what you can and move on. Breathe well and practice listening to those deeper and more subtle layers ♡

This isn’t a retreat for everyone.

It’s for people who want to practise properly.
With space. With steadiness ♡

The retreat is in July.
There’s still time — but not endless time.

If something in you feels drawn to depth over stimulation,
to real guidance rather than hype,
to being part of a small group and you've thought 'Id like to do something like that one day' this is the day 😊

I’ve waited a long time to host a retreat of my own.
I’ve been teaching since 2013, and this was never something I wanted to rush into.

My focus has been on deepening my own practice, evolving my teaching, and growing

I’ve co-taught retreats and offered immersions before, but this one feels different —
because it’s shaped entirely by what Mikey and I value most as practitioners.

Over time, I realised what I need from a retreat has changed.
Not because retreats are wrong,
but because my priorities have evolved.

I no longer crave packed schedules or constant activity.
I value space to practise properly,
clear personal guidance,
and enough time for things to genuinely settle and let it soak in.

That reflection is what shaped this retreat ♡

I shaped this retreat from what I wanted as a practitioner now.

Space to focus on my practice.
Personal guidance.
Time to let things settle.
Time to enjoy the surroundings.

No rushing. No pressure. No performing.

If you're craving something simpler and more nourishing, this might be for you.

2004. 20 years ago. Somewhere in southern India, outside a 13th century Temple. The first time I sat on a yoga mat. 16 years old, Rockin a Mars Volta T-shirt and jeans 🤘

I remember it like it was yesterday. The inspiration I got from an amazing yogi who gave a little talk and demonstration before teaching us. It blew my mind how present, serene, light, and strong he was. From that moment on, I was hooked.

It's amazing how that one day changed the course of my life. I am so grateful. That day ended up being the start of my own spiritual journey, meeting the love of my life, birthing our son, building a shala, and a loving, supportive community ♡
This practice can take you anywhere. By stepping onto the mat today, you are looking out for your future self.

From the left, my sister Elle, my Dad, me & my Mum ♡

I know I look cool 😎

My lovely Nan found this photo for me the other day. Just had to share.
