Southport YOUTH DARTS Academy

Firstly Nikki and Chris would like to apologise for the lack of updates the past few weeks

Due to illness and bank holiday a few weeks have been missed

You will see a few big changes to the tables this is due to players leaving the academy and the scores to date having to be removed

Group one

The final few games were played tonight in group one and as it stands we now have our top 4

Finishing 1st is cooper with 6 games won 8 60+checkouts and 2 180 scores during matches giving him a total of 46 points

Finishing 2nd is Lewie although he won 7 matches he managed 2 60+ checkouts and gains a bonus point because one was over 100 finishing on a total of 35 points

Finishing 3rd is Caleb with 6 wins but no bonus points this time finishing on 23 points

Finnishing 4th is Joshua winning 4 matches hitting 3 60+ checkouts one of which was over 100 gaining an bonus of 7 points he also finishes on 23 points

All 4 of these players will play one last round in the semis and finals which will be held on a Monday night more details to follow on this date.

Group 2

We have managed to get half way through our new league but due to us gaining an extra player starting next week there are some catch up games to play so everyone will have 1 game

So far the leading lady is Lacey who's yet to loose a game so far winning 6 of 6 and hitting a 40+ checkout she's sitting pretty at the top on 20 points

Sophie isn't far behind winning 5 games and having 16 points as she's thrown a 100+ score and got a bonus point

Max is currently 3rd winning 3 games and has thrown 3 100+ scores gaining 3 bonus points leaving him on 12

And Nero is 4th having won 3 games and no bonus points yet giving him 9 points

Only half way through still everything to play for once our newbie Thomas catches up on his games we will be right back into full swing

As stated before if player don't attend they automatically loose theirs games

What do you do with 50 left. Well Jack had one idea tonight. He is now the bully bonus leader for group 2. Jack showed great confidence going straight for it with the first dart.

Update group 2. League 2.

With the new league underway slightly earlier than planned we will have a few weeks of little routines and practice during this league to break it up.

But after the first week of action we have the following. There are no more draws this time around to see how this plays out.

Special note for the fixtures played tonight. Lacey who sat bottom of the league all last season only getting two wins has beaten that already. Lacey won both of her games tonight to take her to 3 wins and top of the league. What a turn around and undefeated.

Update for group 1

Only a few fixtures left in this group and the race for the top 4 is getting close.

8 points separate 2nd to 7th. This can be caught in a week Joshua proved this a few weeks ago with a massive haul of points.

Cooper still remains out front and at this point will take a mammoth effort for anybody to catch but it is possible. But everything else is still to play for.

Leo 2 - 2 Leon unsure on result will change when know as result in book says 3-2. We will update when we know whether 2-2 or 3-1.

Most players only have 3 fixtures left so hopefully we will be done in the next 2 weeks then we will have a finals night alongside group 2. It will be the same format. Upper and lower divisional so nobody misses out.

Final Results from the Spring league of group 2.

Congrats to all for playing hard and giving it everything you had in this league now all the games have been played.

Massive congratulations to Nero for being our league champion massing an amazing 41 points from 7 wins, 6 draws and gaining 7 40+ checkouts.

Our highest checkout goes to William who hit a huge 106 checkout. This is going to take some beating.

Our biggest hitters with 100+ scores were Max and Sophie who both hit scores over 100 5 times.

Our first round of playoffs will be upper divisional and lower divisional so everybody gets a shot at becoming a playoff champion.
