Southport Trinity Cricket Club

Over 50 of our members signed up and joined the 2,000 walkers, raising money at Queenscourt Hospice Star Trekk last night. A brilliant event, raising money for a massively important cause.

A chance for any women and girls 13+ to come down and give cricket a go for free, in a relaxed and friendly environment. ​

Come for the cricket and stay for the social (or vice versa!).

**The STCC Community Day returns!**

After the incredible success of last year’s event, we’re excited to welcome back our STCC Community Day – a celebration of togetherness, connection and community spirit. Last year brought families, friends and local groups together for a fantastic day, and we can’t wait to do it all again with more activities, smiles and shared moments.

Just like last year we proud to do this alongside Bebe’s Hive, a charity that holds a special place in the hearts of the Trinity family. Their inspiring work supporting families and creating positive change in the community reflects the very values our Community Day is built upon, and we’re honoured to support and celebrate the difference they make. 💛

Congratulations to​ our own Anya Kenrick, who has ​been successful in the Lancashire U12 trial for the Early Engagement Programme! She has worked hard on her game and is now reaping the reward.

The girls groups will start training at the Rookery in late April on Friday nights. Please message us for more information on how to get your child involved.

We took a very young squad of girls to their first​ ECB tournament today, where they came up against the best year 7 and 8 girl cricketers in the region.​

They applied themselves brilliantly against some fantastic cricketer​​​s, and deservedly won one of their matches.

The future is bright.

Winter training for our junior and senior groups starts next week at KGV College Sports Hall!

All are welcome, and we are particularly keen to expand our Girls and Women sections in 2026.

It was a pleasure yesterday for the club to pass over a cheque for £17,110.90 to Alder Hey Children’s Charity.

This was money raised at our Community Day event in July, and will help Alder Hey continue the amazing work that they do.

Thanks again to everybody who supported the event.

It was fantastic to present a cheque to Lauren and Ben last night for Bebe’s Hive UK, from the proceeds of our Community Day in July.

We have now finished counting up, and can confirm that the total amount raised through our raffle, auction and Community Day for Bebe’s Hive UK and Alder Hey Children's Charity is a whopping £34,221.80!

We appreciate everyone out there who has helped us reach this total!
