Forget mirrors and machines… this is where functional strength is built.

Our Strongman sessions are open to anyone wanting to learn the events, build real-world strength, and have a great laugh while doing it. Whether you’re completely new or already have experience, we’ll coach you through every lift and carry.

Every great athlete starts with the basics.

Before we lift, jump or sprint, our young Spartans work through a structured warm-up and movement preparation session designed to build the foundations of great movement.

At CTC Spartan, our focus isn’t on doing more—it’s on moving better.

By developing balance, coordination, mobility and body awareness from an early age, we’re helping these young athletes build confidence, reduce injury risk and create skills that will benefit them in sport and everyday life.

💥 New Week. New Programme. 💥

Interval Weight Training (I.W.T.) is BACK!

Today’s big lift? Squats. 🏋️

I.W.T. is simple, brutally effective… just like Head Coach Mike. 😉

Here’s how it works:

🔥 1. Complete a big compound lift for 10 reps at around 50% of your 1RM.

🚴 2. Without hanging around, go straight into a sprint on the Assault Bike, Rower, SkiErg or another conditioning machine for 200–400 metres.

🔁 Repeat for 4 rounds.

The result? A session that builds strength, improves work capacity and leaves you questioning your life choices by round four.

⚠️ Thinking of giving it a go? Make sure you complete a thorough warm-up before you start. Good movement and preparation make all the difference.
