There aren’t many events where so many club members take part, support each other and cheer on fellow runners throughout the week – and that’s what makes the Supersonic Race Series so special. 👏🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Huge congratulations to everyone who took part in this year’s series - you're all superstars 🎉

A special congratulations to Aisha for finishing 2nd Female Overall 🎉 and also to Peter and Michelle for winning their age categories – fantastic achievements! 🏆

But most importantly, well done to every runner, from every club, who completed the week. The determination, resilience and fantastic encouragement shown throughout was brilliant to see 🩵

A huge thank you to all the volunteers and marshals who made the event possible.🩵

Night 1 in Ainsdale, not just special because we had a brilliant support for each other running, but also so great to have club members volunteering and turning up to cheer on the runners! 🩵

Such a fab atmosphere, loads of friendly faces, thanks to all the runners, organisers, volunteers and supporters who make this such a fun week! 🩵

Some of you will remember that two of our long standing members got engaged on one of our club runs last year!!

A huge congratulations to Sasha and Peter as they celebrated their wedding day yesterday! ❤️👰‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️(and looked a lot more glam than on club runs 😂)

A very special evening indeed, with the Ainsdale beach a sea of yellow for Bebe. Over 300 people came together, and where we all remembered three very special girls — Bebe, Alice and Elsie 💛

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Red Squirrel 10k!

We're delighted to confirm that donations of £1675.00 each have been made to Southport Soup Kitchen and Queenscourt Hospice 💜

Our aim was always to be able to put on a great local running event that raised money for some of the vital work done in our community.

We supported the Southport Strong Together appeal last year, and we were so pleased to have been able to bring Red Squirrel back in 2026 with the same great turn out and brilliant funds raised 🙏🐿️🩵
