16 players battled it out over the last few months tonight sees the last 2 standing who will be crowned our first silver event champion? 👀

So last weekend we hosted Tony browns optimum pool promotions Merseyside novice tour 4 here in Dodd’s. With players from all over the north west battling it out for the £700 prize. A few of our players ran deep in the main and plate events. There could only be 1 winner……….. after seeing himself go 5-1 down in the final against Liverpools Jak Newby Jamie managed to fight his way back into the match to draw level at 7-7 with the last frame being a little scrappy Jamie found a lovely finish to win the title. Congratulations to one of our own Jamie O’Shaughnessy on winning the main event very well played sir 👏.
Also congratulations to Liverpools Tony Mossman winning the plate event beating another one of our own Tom Nolan 5-4 in the final. So a good day for our club with 2 finalists and some of our other players reaching semis and quarters. Thank you very much to Tony, John & Sam these events are always brilliant and ran smoothly all day from start to finish. Roll on October for the Southport open 😍
