What a season it’s been for our Foxes 🦊

After struggling to get teams out last year, it’s been amazing to see just how much the group has grown throughout 2026!!

They finished 2nd in Division 1 Softball, returned to Hardball Super 8s and even played their first ever T20… which they won 🙌

The squad has now grown to 20 players and their girls’ team is starting to build some real momentum too.

But one of the best things has been seeing the confidence grow across the group and just how close everyone has become both on and off the pitch 💙

And they're not slowing down just yet…

They've got their awards night this Friday, a weekend away in the Lakes being planned, winter training starting in October, a couple of indoor friendlies hopefully on the cards and an evening with Lancashire captain Ellie Threlkeld too!

They will also be having a big recruitment push over the winter, so if you’re a woman or girl who fancies giving cricket a go, whether you’ve played before or you’re completely new to it, we’d love to hear from you!!

What a day for our Sponsors & Family Day! 🏏

The weather certainly tried its best to put us off… but it takes a bit more than a few downpours to stop us! 🤣

We still managed to get some solid cricket in throughout the day, with our Juniors taking on the Foxes, followed by our Senior Men Past vs Present game… although we’re sure a few of the “past” players still might be feeling it now! 👀

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who came down, got involved and showed their support for the club. Days like this are exactly what we're about – bringing everyone together, from our youngest players right through to some very familiar faces from years gone by! 💙

Well… the weather certainly tried its best to ruin our Bank Holiday weekend of cricket 😂

Saturday saw the 2XI make the trip to Whitefield Roby CC, but unfortunately the heavy rain had other ideas and the game was called off...

Meanwhile, back at Sea Cop, the 1XI somehow managed to convince the rain to stay away for the majority of the afternoon… and made it count by bringing home the WIN!

Today, the 3XI brought our weekend filled with cricket to a close at Sea Cop. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be for the team, but by all accounts it was a great game of cricket! 👏

And just like that… we’ve only got THREE WEEKS of the season left! 😭

There are still plenty of vital points up for grabs, so we’re ready to give these final few games everything we’ve got and bring what has already been an extraordinary season to a strong finish! 💪
