⚽️🌟 Family Fun Day at Farnborough Road Infant School 🌟⚽️

We’re excited to be supporting the First Steps Family Fun Day this Wednesday, and our Southport FC Wildcats coaches are proud to be part of such a brilliant community event.

Throughout the day, we’ll be running fun football games, challenges and mini‑drills for children of all ages — all focused on enjoyment, confidence and giving every child a chance to shine. Expect lots of smiles, lots of energy, and plenty of opportunities to get involved.

This event is hosted by First Steps, an organisation whose mission sits right at the heart of our community:

A huge well done to our Wildcats this morning — this group gets better every single week, and it’s brilliant to see their confidence growing.

Today the girls explored:

• Ball mastery to build close control
• Dribbling through interference and past defenders
• Shielding the ball using their body to stay strong in possession
• Shooting in 1vs1 duels to encourage bravery and quick decision‑making

They finished by taking all those skills into a competitive game — full of effort, teamwork and smiles.

If your daughter would like to try football in a fun, friendly and confidence‑building environment, our Wildcats sessions are the perfect place to start. No experience needed, just enthusiasm. We’d love to welcome new players into the group.
