A glorious afternoon at Southport & Birkdale Croquet Club — sunshine, good company, a BBQ and, of course, plenty of croquet!

A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such an enjoyable day. This is what club life is all about 🥳

Final of the pairs competition tomorrow so come along and watch some Croquet and play some Croquet. Remember Croquet can be as competitive or as non competitive as you want.

🌞 What a fabulous day for our club! 🌞

Today had everything: a BBQ, a brilliant win for the Southport Hawks against Pendle and Craven Croquet Club - thank you for hosting us 🙏 — plus our regular Social Saturday event.

We also welcomed people along to our beginners’ courses, and we really hope everyone enjoyed giving croquet a try.

On Saturdays, we have a simple system: people turn up, get randomly paired with others, and play. No fuss, no pressure — just good company, fresh air, and the occasional shot that was definitely meant to do that. 😉

And yes… we even had sunshine today.

Croquet is amazing!

We are always looking for new members, so please spread the word and invite people along 🌞🌞🌞🌞
