💜 Little update! 💜
All my personal training sessions have now moved to sunny Southsea 🌞💜✨
As I live here and most of my clients are based here too, it felt right to bring everything closer to home and make things easier for everyone 💜
I’m really grateful for where I started Empower with Elise Personal Training and everyone I’ve worked with so far to help it grow. Now onto a new chapter in a fresh space Anytime Fitness Portsmouth-Southsea 💜
Same me, same approach.. just a new location 🌞💜✨
I’ve currently got 1 space left for PT on a Friday —so if you’re Southsea-based and have been thinking about starting, feel free to drop me a message 🌞💜✨

I’ve spent the last 6 months immersed in being Mama, and honestly I’ve never felt more me in the role ❤️
But tomorrow I’m adding a little extra back seeing clients in-person 1 day a week - for now.
I’m really excited to see all my wonderful clients again, and step into this part of myself once more. While holding onto every moment of my beautiful baby growing right before my eyes 🥹.
Time is moving ridiculously fast (I never believed it when people told me), I just want to treasure it all. Finding this balance, trying to be present and enjoy all sides of Elise ❤️

Your midweek reminder 💛
As a new mum my body definitely does not look IG ready 24/7 and that is the norm! Clothing, the way you stand, lighting can all make such a difference to your appearance. Please don’t forget this when you are doom scrolling 💛
If you’re navigating postpartum or working on yourself right now, BE KIND TO YOURSELF. Results take time, and any progress is still progress 💛
Please don’t compare yourself to the fitness influencer that works out for a living, telling you to “just make time” for 4+ workouts a week. Your life and your season are different and individual to you 💛
You’re doing better than you think 💛

Okay, how is it March already?! Feb has literally flown by and it’s been nearly a whole month since I posted anything on here.
Being a mummy has literally consumed me in the best way possible, and all of my spare time is going towards giving my clients the best care and support that they deserve - leaving little time for content to be honest!
Buttt I am going to try and be better this month and post more postpartum content and share some more fabulous wins of my wonderful clients.
As spring approaches, I am going to be re-opening spaces for in-person clients. If you are interested in starting some fresh habits for Spring and would like more information please drop me a message x

My favourite client win messages from January 🩵
January can feel overwhelming — full of pressure to “turn your life around.” I’m so proud of my clients for for working towards their goals without putting unnecessary pressure on themselves 🩵
We’re shifting the mindset that working on yourself should come from a place of love. That motivation isn’t always there but promises to yourself still matter. That slow progress is not no progress. And that gentle lifestyle changes, over time, are usually the most sustainable 🩵.
I celebrate every kind of win here —from new PBs,
to meal prepping like a boss, to feeling amazing in a new pair of jeans 🩵
If this approach resonates and you’re ready for support that actually fits your life, coaching spaces are open — DM me “COACHING” and let’s have a chat 🩵

UPDATE 📣🩷✨💪
After 3 months of working exclusively with my current clients while becoming a mum, I’m opening 5 online coaching spaces.
2 are already gone 🩷
This is for my busy ladies. Women who are juggling work, family, life and want fitness to feel like YOU time, not another thing on the to-do list 🩷
This isn’t going to be a quick fix but it definitely does not involve extremes. It is structured, supportive coaching. As I always say it’s fitness that fits around your life, not your life fitting around fitness 🩷
If you’re a woman who’s ready to prioritise + invest in herself without guilt, and wants support that’s realistic, sustainable, and personal then this could be for you 🩷
If you want one of the final 3 spaces,
DM me “COACHING” and I’ll send you the details 🩷

To be honest I was dreading coming back to training postpartum but it hasn’t been unenjoyable. I actually really like training again 💖
What I maybe didn’t fully prepare for was how different my body would feel — even when everything is technically “fine” 💖
Muscles definitely feel tighter. Weights that once felt comfortable now need intention. My heart rate climbs quicker so my recovery is longer. And I have to remind myself that none of that is bad, it’s totally expected 💖
I just don’t think we talk about it enough and we are surrounded by influencer mums who “bounce back” and are up at 4am in the morning every morning to get in a workout. I’m enjoying slowing things down and making the most of squeezing in my 1x a week strength training 💖
Training feels like it has a purpose again. For a while I lost my spark for my own training as I didn’t have any goals as such, I’d reached a point I was maintaining as I was happy in mind + body but that made training unexciting to me 💖
A reminder if you’re postpartum and training feels different, you’re not behind, you are adapting 💖

Here’s what my first strength workout looked like 11 weeks postpartum 🤍💪
I was also advised not to strength train from around halfway through pregnancy due to a cervical ectropion — so it genuinely feels like starting again 8 months+ later 🤍💪
I kept it simple, low intensity and mostly bodyweight - that doesn’t mean I am not an aching still 2 days later! 🤍💪
I added weights only where my form felt solid (RDLs and shoulder press). I also didn’t even get everything done — the low row machine wasn’t available and I ran out of time. My back I am definitely going to focus on, especially as I am noticing slight posture changes from pregnancy and breastfeeding, but also due to my scoliosis 🤍💪
All in all a positive session and no where near as scary as I thought it would be 🤍💪
