Southwater FC Southwater Football Club Founded 1958 Always looking for new players. We build resilience, team spirit, friendships & a good work ethic.

Senior Team Training currently being held Wednesday's 7-8:30 at the sports club on church lane from 30th March (Winter training at Tanbridge) 8-9pm). Currently there are 3 Saturday senior teams and 1 Vets team running in the 2021/22 season. 1st Sussex Combination division 2, The Reserves West Sussex Division 2 North and our Thirds West Sussex Division 4 Central. We also have a large Junior section, starting with 4yr olds at our Soccer School & all the way up the age groups. We believe it is so important to develop & encourage every young person, so that they fall in love with football & can remain with the Club throughout their life. Many of our Senior players started with the juniors & are now playing Vets football with their children now part of the Club. Contact [email protected]

A tough Saturday for our men’s teams, who will be determined to bounce back this weekend. 💪

Meanwhile, our U18 Girls stormed to a brilliant 5-0 cup victory, while our Women’s team shared the spoils with COGS in an eight-goal thriller, finishing 4-4! 👏

Well done to our teams over the weekend with 4 wins! Congrats to our Reserves who are through to the 2nd round of the Sussex Junior Cup. Our u18s girls winning their first game of the season, and BLUs scoring 4 and taking 3 points and the top scorers of the weekend with 8 is our womens team!

Please join our friends at Baby Loss United FC (BLU) on 15th October.

The Global Wave of Light marks the end of Baby Loss Awareness Week.

At 7:00pm, bereaved families around the world light candles in memory of their babies, creating a symbolic wave of light that travels across the globe. For the dads of BLU, this is a particularly important opportunity to come together, remember their babies, support one another, and feel connected to the wider baby loss community.

Following this special moment with their families, everyone is welcome to take part in the quiz night. Whether you have experienced a loss personally or simply want to show your support, your involvement will help BLU continue its vital work supporting bereaved families and fathers. The club provides a safe and understanding space where dads can talk, connect, and find support when they need it most.

We hope you can join us for an evening of remembrance, community, and fundraising for an incredible cause.
