Rick has been a proud member of Southwell Rugby Club for many years and has undertaken several roles for the club including Club President.

Our Colts got their season off to a fantastic start last night with a hard fought 29 to 17 victory at Paviors.

Tries from Iman and Harry S gave Southwell a narrow 10-7 lead at the break but Pavs started the second half strongly, and a try and a penalty saw them take a 17-10 lead.

As the half wore on Southwell turned pressure into points and a well taken try from Henry S, and further tries from Alfie and a penalty try sealed the victory.

A massive thankyou to Nathan and all at Paviors RFC Nottingham for a great game and hospitality. See you later in the season.

Ladies Day is a day to say thank you.

Thank you to all the wonderful ladies, without which our fantastic club simply wouldn’t exist.

Thank you to the girlfriends, sisters and daughters, thankyou to our wonderful women who play in our women’s section, to our long suffering wives (😜) and all the wonderful ladies that volunteer at our club and help make our world go round!

Come and let us spoil you on Saturday 3rd October starting with a free drink on arrival and followed by a light lunch. Enjoy watching our first team take on Belgrave Rugby Club followed by an auction of the players shirts in the clubhouse 😳

This is a free event and the club will be supporting Breast Cancer UK through our raffle, auctions and donations on the day. Dress up glam and dance your way into the evening!!!
