The very first “Girl on Fire” 🔥 Award has been handed out!

For our Performance Team, at each event we will be giving an award to 1 member who has achieved the following:
✨ Good Attendance
✨ Good Commitment to the Team
✨ Good Sportsmanship with Teammates
✨ Worked hard in all sessions on the led up to an event (Blackpool)
✨ Performed well on the day.

I think considering she was in a boot due to breaking her big toe and made sure she attended any sessions leading up to the event to help adjust the routine, she really deserves this award.
If she couldn’t have attended, we may have been in limbo 😅

🏆BEST CHOREOGRAPHY WINNERS!🏆
They’ve only gone and done it again!
I’ve never been as proud as I was yesterday for this team!

Bit of context:
✨Coach has been on maternity for 4 months
✨The team and coach only started back training this week after having 2.5 weeks off for summer, that’s 2 sessions.
✨We are a member down already for this event.
✨Shakira broke her big toe in the first training session and they put a full boot on her.
✨Evie then somehow managed to kick the box in the session and also broke her little toe.
✨Friday night we had to change the whole routine and simplify our moves due to injuries. The night before the event 🙈

It’s been a week for this team to say the least!
But they have taken it in their stride and pulled together so they could compete at the tower together.

✨Shout out to Tallulah for performing at this event for the first time. It’s a lovely venue to perform in 🪩

We are super proud of every gymnast on this team for going out there and giving it their all, given everything that’s happened this week. It is admirable how much you support each other in any situation.

A huge shout out to every other team that competed this weekend. We love watching you all ☺️
And lots of win’s for the northern teams 🏆👏🏼
