Our youth section celebrated last night at our Annual Presentation night.
The evening was a wonderful opportunity to recognise the hard work, commitment and achievements of our young players throughout the season. Awards were presented to some of our standout batsmen and wicket-takers, alongside players who have shown significant improvement and development during the year.
The evening was not only about individual achievements, but also about celebrating the success and spirit of all our youth teams. The commitment shown by the players, coaches, volunteers and parents throughout the season has been fantastic.
The club was also delighted to receive a grant from Spennymoor Town Council, which helped make the evening extra special by allowing us to provide pizza for the players. The boys and girls certainly enjoyed the opportunity to refuel and celebrate together!
Thank you to Spennymoor Town Council for its generous support, with special thanks to Cllr Shiela Mills and John Magill who supported personally.
And a massive thank you to everyone who has contributed to making another successful youth season possible.
We look forward to seeing our young players continue to develop, enjoy their cricket and represent the club with pride in the seasons ahead.
