UKBT 3* 2-a-side men's and women's tournament Sat 1 August. Enter by yourself and play with different partners all day, amassing points for yourself. Top points scorers progress, others play off. Must be a UKBT member (see ukbeachtour-playerzone.com/register for membership). Wow, what a great weekend we've had! Teams from all over the UK came to the West Sands for our St Andrews Open event and, with a mix of weather conditions, the sun came out to shine on us yesterday for the latter stages of the competition. With some amazing plays, we had some home-grown talent that rose to the top of the pile.

We also had 2* competitions on Saturday and a 1* mixed competition on Sunday, with some cracking beach volleyball taking place all weekend.
