At our recent AGM, we elected our Saltire SCD committee for 2026-27. They are hard at work preparing events for the year ahead.

📢 EVENT: Workshop and AGM - Saturday 4th April

Join us in Dundee for an afternoon workshop aimed at intermediate/advanced dancers. We'll focus on improving technique in steps, figures and improving confidence in dancing.

Our dancers had a wonderful time at the Newcastle Festival on Saturday, competing in the Ladies, Mixed and Display classes.
All the hard work paid off with some really impressive dancing and great feedback all round!

After the competition, we enjoyed some very energetic social dancing to the music of David Oswald and his band.
Thanks to all the dancers, the Saltire committee and, of course, the festival organisers for another enjoyable year!

I am excited to announce that we are doing a merch order. We now have a couple of new items that we have not had before!

Everything we have on offer is displayed in the attached documents which details the cost and level of personalisation available for each item. Get in touch to order by the 6th of December!

October workshop:
Reminder that our October event is 2-4pm on the 11th of October at Ward Road Gym. This will be a workshop of interesting dances and figures to recorded music, taught by our very own Lucy and Thomas. Please come along!

This time around we are not hosting a dance in the evening. Instead, we hope to see you all at the RSCDS Dundee branch dance, with music by Sandy Nixon. It is at 7.30pm on the 11th of October at Morgan Academy. See Dundee branch for more details.
