💖💕 Restrictions breed creativity.
A beautiful piece of music, you can walk, you can ocho…..that’s it. Now how many ways can you alter and play with the structure and dynamic of a familiar figure? We diligently resisted the urge to use familiar patterns to problem solve navigation issues and the result was a creative evening of musicality accompanied by our usual La Rubia sashay through the musical genres 😘
As always we thank everyone who attended for their patience and diligence to the tasks at hand, you are a joy to work with and we thank you for that! 🥰

💖💕 Happiness is a busy Monday night at the club 🥰 The convivial hubbub of people working it out together, Marisol singing 😍 and La Rubia tidying up our form as she passes amongst us 😊
The atmosphere you guys all create with your fantastic attitudes to the shared learning experience is infectious as we all help each other improve, from absolute beginners to the improvers, we all rise together.

For the tenacious twinkle toed, total immersion, tip top tango technique tangueros y tangueras……this Thursday is our intensive class at its new time of 7-9.30pm.

💖💕 A huge Tango vocabulary with poor ex*****on is as much use as a huge Spanish vocabulary with a dreadful accent. You think you’ve got it all but no one can understand you. The devil, as ‘la jefa’ is fond of pointing out, is in the detail. We began with foot health, its articulation and the creation of elegance within our step. We dug deep into our ochos building beauty and power by developing our torsion within the pivot and we worked on our timing, accenting musical variation with adorno. It was a densely packed couple of hours of feeding that muscle memory. The results were immediate but will also filter through the system and continue to pay dividends on the dance floor as the solo exercises are continued at home.
The class is intentionally small and the work is hard giving you the depth and attention you need to get the results you desire.
We love these intense sessions and we love to work with you beautiful tangueras! We can’t thank you enough for your attention and dedication!

Next Thursday August 27th it is our normal intensive at our new time of 7-9.30pm. This is for both leads and follows and creates our end of the month club with a 3 day week of training. The improvements made by those attending are obvious. Train hard, dance easy 🥰 see you next time! 💕💖
