Good luck Gailey Cc sprint team at the Regatta this weekend 🥇🥇

On Sunday, in the blistering heat, members of Gailey CC held a Paddle UK Big Paddle Clean Up and took the chance to also do a club gardening and club house clean up at the same time. While the youth did most of the litter picking and worked their way along our C&RT adopted mile of water the older members cut grass, cleared weeds, pruned, hoovered and mopped 🙂 just a shame the local MP who had expressed interest never managed to come, he must have been busy!
A great effort in challenging conditions!
We’d promised them fish and chips after but as it was too hot to eat we’ll owe them all a treat.
