🐴 High Offley Fernando: The Coloured Showjumping Stallion Sired by Kannan🌟
When Talent Meets Show-Stopping Looks 💫
Every so often, a horse comes along that stops you mid-stride. High Offley Fernando is exactly that kind of horse. Standing proudly at High Offley Stud in Staffordshire, this coloured showjumping stallion is turning heads for all the right reasons. And honestly? Once you get to know him, you'll understand exactly why he's creating such a buzz across the equestrian world. 🐎✨
A Pedigree That Reads Like a Dream 📜
Let's start with the family tree – because Fernando's ancestry is nothing short of extraordinary!
His sire is the legendary Kannan – a name that commands instant respect in showjumping circles. Kannan has consistently been ranked among the world's elite sires, and his influence on the sport is staggering. Need proof? His offspring include Nino Des Buissonets, who clinched Olympic gold at London 2012 with Steve Guerdat. That's the kind of winning DNA flowing through Fernando's veins! 🥇🇨🇭
But wait, there's more! On his dam's side, Fernando inherits the greatness of Samber through his mare Jorinde. And here's where it gets really interesting – Samber made history as the first coloured stallion ever approved by the KWPN studbook. His influence stretches across showjumping, dressage, and eventing, making him arguably the most influential coloured sire the world has ever seen. 🌈📖
When your pedigree includes names like Kannan and Samber, you're already halfway to greatness. But Fernando didn't stop there – he went out and proved himself! 💪
The Proof Is in the Performance 🏆
Pretty pedigree aside, Fernando has rolled up his sleeves and delivered where it really counts – inside the competition ring!
This stallion has jumped 1.40m classes with style, showing the kind of careful, athletic technique that makes experienced riders sit up and take notice. He's not just athletic – he's smart, measured, and genuinely enjoys his job. His performances against the clock have proven he has both the scope and the competitive edge to mix it with the best. When Fernando jumps, he does it with presence, power, and precision. 🔥⏱️
He's the complete athlete – and it shows.
The Next Generation Is Already Shining 🌟
Here's where Fernando's story becomes really exciting – his offspring are starting to make waves, and they're proving the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!
Meet the rising stars:
⭐ High Offley Colour of Money – out of Arab Van Het Molenhof mare. This guy is seriously impressive! He placed 2nd at the prestigious Bolesworth Championships as a four-year-old, delivered double-clear rounds at WBFSH Valkenswaard, and now stands at 16.3hh as a proven stallion in his own right. Talk about following in dad's footsteps!
⭐ High Offley Milo – who is full sister to Colour of Money. Is already competing at 1.30m to 1.40m levels across Europe. Clearly, the jumping ability runs deep!
What's particularly striking about Fernando's offspring is their temperament – they've inherited his fantastic, willing nature that makes them such a pleasure to work with. In an industry where attitude matters as much as ability, that's worth its weight in gold! 😍👨👧👦
Colour That Turns Heads (But Never Compromises Quality) 🎨
Here's the bit that gets breeders really excited – Fernando passes on his striking colour with remarkable consistency. When bred to plain mares, he produces a high proportion of coloured foals. That means breeders can finally have the best of both worlds: show-stopping looks combined with genuine performance potential.
No more choosing between colour and quality. With Fernando, you get both! 🌈✨
Building a Legacy, One Foal at a Time 🌱
High Offley Stud has masterfully positioned Fernando to shape the future of coloured showjumping. The stud regularly offers foals and young horses sired by Fernando out of proven competition mares – giving breeders a golden opportunity to invest in this exceptional bloodline.
And the results are already speaking for themselves. With offspring now competing internationally, Fernando's influence is spreading far beyond Staffordshire. This isn't just a flash in the pan – this is a legacy being built, one generation at a time. 🚀🏇
The Bottom Line: Why Fernando Deserves Your Attention 💡
