Hot on the heels from a brilliant day at Lichfield Festival of Folk, we’re back at practice tonight.

Who wants to join us?

We’ve been called The Monsters of Morris, but we’re a really friendly bunch who just want to dance and have fun.

Oh my goodness! It’s Lichfield Festival of Folk soon - Saturday 3rd of October 🤩. We’ll be there processing and dancing and really looking forward to it 😊

What a top day at Lichfield Festival of Folk today. Superbly organised and smashing to be dancing with 21 other Morris sides!

Hope we get an invite again for next year!

Well what a summer Stafford Morris has had. On May day we danced at dawn, we danced to celebrate Stafford History day, we got to dance on the famous Ironbridge (thank you Ironmen & Severn Gilders !) and we even got to dance at the seaside at Sidmouth folk festival.
And of course we danced at many locations (pubs!), fates and festivals in and around Stafford. Special mention to one of our favourite places The Borehole.
At all the events we have been made welcome and have enjoyed the support from the various audiences...thank you so much ❤️

And we're not quite done. We will be at Lichfield festival of folk on Saturday 3rd October and in Birmingham for the Jockey day of dance 10th October.

And usual practice resumes tomorrow, 14th September. We are welcoming new members so if you'd like to join us drop us a message and come along, Mondays 8-10pm North end Community Centre, ST16 1JG.

Well it’s the The Abbots Bromley Horn Dance tomorrow! Well worth a visit to see the famous dance performed throughout the day.
Stafford Morris Dancers will be dancing in the Market Place along with other Morris friends before the last Horn Dance of the day prior to their return to the church.
We are excited about it as it’s always a lovely event.

Thanks Ellesmere Carnival, another fantastic event. Great to be dancing with our chums Green Man Morris. We were entertaining the crowds at the start, then part of the procession.

So, Stafford Morris are on tour today! We’re dancing at Ellesmere Carnival, an annual outing for us.

It’s going to be a great event. We’ll be entertaining the crowds from 11.30am, then joining the procession from 12.00pm.

Come along and say ‘Hello’ to us.
