A good install should be straightforward to service when an engineer returns a year later.

That means leaving room to access key components, fitting isolation valves where they’re needed, making sure drain points can actually be used, and keeping the system layout easy to read. On heat pump jobs, the same thinking applies to external pipework, insulation, flow rates and system volume.
