Manager's Player of the Match 🏆

No.6 Frank

A really solid performance from my no.6 this morning. Played in multiple positions and didn't moan once. Frank is a pleasure to coach and is always willing to cover what is asked of him. His positive attitude allows him to play with freedom. He is intense in the tackle and direct when moving forward. Bagged himself a well-deserved goal aswell 👏

Manager's Thoughts 💭

Saturday mornings are a joy to behold. These lads are growing from strength to strength. Another dominant performance from my Rangers u11s. We controlled the game from the first whistle, and looked very good going forward.

I rotated positions today, allowing players to appreciate different job roles and expectations. No one moaned, no one faulted. Their attitudes are bang on at present and these boys will fight for each other. Furthermore we kept a well-deserved clean sheet. I love the fact that even conceeding just one goal was not an option. They put their bodies on the line as if every tackle a block was a cup final. That mentality is just what I want and the standard the boys are setting.

Super Saturdays continue. UTR! 🖤💛🤍

⚽ Match Report ⚽️

Our first away game of the season saw us travel north to Stoke.

After a steady start, which saw us take the lead, the boys soon started to find their feet and really settle into the game.

We controlled large parts of the match, looking comfortable in possession, solid at the back and creating plenty of chances going forward.

There were some strong and questionable challenges from the opposition throughout the game, but the boys kept their composure, stayed focused and simply let their football do the talking. 👏

The goals continued to come, and we eventually finished the game the way we started.

That keeps our perfect start to the season going — 4 wins from 4! 💥

A fantastic team performance from start to finish, with every player playing their part. Well done, boys. Another brilliant result and a very proud Assistant Manager today ❤️

Keep working hard, keep believing and let’s see where this journey takes us! 💪🔥

⭐ Managers Player of the Match – Korbyn ⭐

What a fantastic all-round performance from Korbyn today!

He was asked to play in a number of different positions throughout the game and he stepped up every time, working tirelessly for the team and putting in a huge shift.

And when it came to finding the back of the net, Korbyn was certainly on fire, bagging an impressive 4 goals — or, in his own words, “with every part of my body!” 😂⚽

A brilliant performance, showing great versatility, determination and a fantastic attitude.

Well deserved, Korbyn— brilliant work! 👏🔥

⭐ Parents Player of the Match – Teddy ⭐

A superb performance from Teddy today, as he bossed the midfield from start to finish.

Strong in the tackle, composed on the ball and always looking to play forward, Teddy was constantly creating opportunities and looking to get our strikers into dangerous positions.

Even after needing a rest following a nasty tackle, Teddy picked himself back up and got straight back into the action, once again taking control of the middle of the park.

A real battling performance and exactly the kind of determination we love to see.

Fully deserved, Teddy — fantastic performance! 👏💪⚽

This lad works tirelessly for his team and is hell bent on creating chances. He was extremely strong on the ball today amd peppered the box woth crosses. Korbyn continues to forge relationships with his new teammates, and strengthen existing ones.

Manager's Player of the Match 🏆

No.4 Gabriel

Gabe was on it again today! What makes Gabriel stand out is his decision making whilst under pressure. Calm and collected, his first touch always aims to beat the first attacker, whilst always holding a forward thinking mentality. This season I know Gabriel is aiming to add more goals to his game, but it's his assists at the minute which are catching everyone's eye. His switch of play, and precision passes broke the opposition's lines multiple times today, helping his teammates find the target.

What a start to the season for our no.4 🙌

Manager's Thoughts 💭

Well we made bloody hardwork of that!

We continue our strong start, but today the boys had to adjust and adapt their game- which I can safely say took a while. 40 minutes later, we eventually got there, but the kack of movement off the ball caught us ball watching for large amounts of the game. The opposition did a good job at breaking up our play, and stopped us building attacks the way we wanted. The boys soon realised they needed to fight fire with fire. Once we became more aggressive on the ball and started winning key 1v1 battles, we overcame the rocky start and finished beautifully. I had all faith the boys would get there with a little encouragement and a rocket in their ears 🚀

A real lesson for the team today on how important balance and cover is when attacking, and transitioning must be quicker.

We march on stronger, and together. UTR! 💥💪⚽️

Manager's Player of the Match 🏆

No.4 Gabriel

A confident and very mature performance from my no.4 today. Always forward thinking. His positive attitude was at the heart of nearly every attack. First touch- forward. Passing- forward. Vision- forward. Gabriel is desperate to add more goals to his game this season, and after witnessing his driving runs today, I have no doubt he will find the target more this season. Today he rattled the post and the cross-bar, whilst assisting the lads in multiple goals. A superb, well-rounded performance, and a MotM award which is fully deserved 👏

Manager's Thoughts 💭

What a team! Week 2, and another cracking show they put on for us 👏

Took us 5 mins to get going and find some rythym, but once we hit fourth gear there was no stopping us. We were showing energy and spirit, but our press needed some adjustments. The lack of communication was stopping us finishing in the final third. Once we started utilising the wall pass effectively, our movement off the ball became effective. Finding space behind the defence and opening up the pitch, the boys soon found their mojo. Team goals and some individual masterpieces, the boys cruised to another solid victory.

More communication needed, but united, happy, and the best of friends. UTR! 💜❤️
