if you’ve been to my yoga classes, you know I encourage you to embrace the messiness of your practice. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about showing up just as you are.
why? because the perfectionist inside can hold you back from even trying. the fear of “failing” can pull you out of your practice entirely.
remember, growth happens when we step outside of our comfort zones and allow ourselves to be vulnerable. each attempt, each wobble and each imperfect moment is a testament to YOU and commitment to your practice. 🫶🏼
patanjali reminds us in 1.12: “the practice and non-attachment are the means to still the fluctuations of the mind.” let’s focus and honour the journey, rather than attaching your worth to the outcome.

it’s taken me weeks to put together this post but even now I know nothing I say or show can encapsulate what this retreat meant to me, it was truly so special. 🌞
so here’s a glimpse into the beautiful memories that bring the biggest smile to my face, reminding me how much i miss this wonderful bunch 💕
from the yoga practices, the belly laughs, the friendships, the a-mazing food, the workshops, the tears, the breakthroughs, the outer body experiences, the strength, the sharing circles, the stories, the hugs, the stillness, the dog therapy and so much moreeeee.
my gratitude goes beyond words to all the incredible women who joined me, thank you for your beautiful energy. a space with no judgement, no expectation, just kindness.
i can’t wait for round ✌🏻 next year

embrace the natural ebb and flow of your connections. trust that the right people will stay effortlessly, while others will gracefully fade away.
yoga reminds us of this truth. aparigraha, translates to non-attachment or non-possessiveness and teaches us to cherish what we have without clinging to it, allowing us to recognize the beautiful impermanence of our relationships. ✨

if not now, when? ✨
in the midst of being busy, we often forget the power of movement. it’s easy to think that taking time for yourself means sacrificing something else but the truth is, moving your body can be exactly what you need it to be; to dial down the noise, to draw your attention inwards, to find compassion and to cultivate a deeper connection of self.
movement transcends the physical; it’s a way to release tension, to clear the mind, express emotion and nourish our spirit.
what if moving your body had little to do with how it looked and everything to do with how it made you feel?
before you push movement to the bottom of your list this week, ask yourself how do you want to feel? & let that guide your decision.
