Huge congratulations to Welland pupils Freya and Aki who both played principal roles last week in two VERY different productions - Aki played ‘the child’ in 1984 for Stamford Shoestring Theatre and Freya played Brooke in Legally Blonde for showstoppers.
Both did amazingly and audience came out singing their praises. Well done, you stars! 🤩

Well done to our dancers who represented us yesterday at Stamford Dog Show. They all did a brilliant job and it was lovely to see some young audience members dancing along with them 🥹 Thanks for inviting us 2nd Stamford Scout Group and for comparing Rutland & Stamford Sound.
See you there next year!

We need more second hand uniform!
Do you have any uniform your child has now outgrown? Please consider donating it back to the school. This not only helps families looking to purchase uniform to keep costs down, but also benefits the students as we use the funds raised from our second hand sale to buy new costumes for our March show.
Donations can be left at Reception any time and we will launder and sort it ready for sale.

Yesterday our new Musical Theatre classes found out which musicals we’d be focussing on this year and we couldn’t have hoped for a better reaction! Our younger students have the beautiful Finding Nemo the Musical and our older students get the hilarious SpongeBob the Musical! Lots of fantastic colourful characters to bring to life, we can’t wait to see the ensembles work together to start creating they’d pieces 🧽🐟🐠🐡🪸

Huge congratulations to this years PACE winner - Fjola.
Each year we give out our PACE award which stands for Progress Achievement Commitment and Effort and wow does Fjola display all of those! She is at the studio almost every day and when she’s not taking classes of her own she’s assisting our young Acro students.
We are so incredibly proud of Fjola and all of her achievements. She has grown so much in confidence and is such a phenomenal role model for our younger students. We are honoured to be a part of her journey not just as a dancer, but as a big part of the Welland Community and beyond.
Well done Fjola! 👏🏻
