We regret to have to announce that Brian Edwards has passed away this morning after a lengthy illness. A former treasurer of the indoor club, Brian was a life member. We pass on our condolences to his widow, Anita. Further details will be given once known.

Sad to report that Phil H***e, chairman of Stamford & District Bowls League, died on Wednesday morning ( March 25) at Peterborough & District Hospital, aged 80. A former sports editor of Peterborough Evening Telegraph he was a keen cricketer, playing in Devon - his home county - Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. In later years he was a member of Ketton Bowls Club and Stamford Indoor Bowls Association.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 We’re delighted to announce our 2025/26 Mixed Under 18 International Team, who will proudly represent at the U18 Mixed International Series from Friday 9th – Sunday 11th January 2026 at Cumbernauld IBC in Scotland.

We wish our team the very best of luck as they prepare to compete against some of the best young bowlers from across the home nations.

Thank you if you have already put your entries in for the EIBA 2025/26 Winter National Competitions. However, if you are yet to do so we would encourage you to do this soon as entries for the Individual and Club / County Team Competitions close on Sunday 8th June 2025.
