Two Sisters, Two Workspaces, One Mission!

Running a business together means we share the same goals, but our workspaces? Totally different vibes! My sister and I each have a unique setup that reflects our personalities and the way we work best.

Her space is all about notepads and pens, whilst mine is as paperless as possible.

We may work from different desks, but we’re always connected through our shared passion for helping businesses grow and thrive. Here’s a peek into our world—two different workspaces, but one powerful team!

Happy Monday it's time to beat the January blues!

January can feel like a long month, but let’s shift the focus! Instead of seeing it as “the struggle after Christmas,” let’s embrace it as a time for new beginnings and growth.

Remember:

Small Wins – Celebrate even the tiniest accomplishments today. Every step forward is progress!

Prioritise You – Take time for self-care, even if it's just a quiet coffee break or a walk outside. Your mental health matters.

Positive Mindset – A shift in perspective can work wonders! Turn challenges into opportunities to grow.

Look Forward – New goals, new adventures, and new memories are waiting! Focus on the things that excite you in 2025.

Using a remarkable means we can store all of our notes in one place. We found that using notepads made it difficult to refer back to notes as we didn't know which notepad we'd used and there was so much to click though to find out what we needed.

Having a remarkable has saved us so much time and it means we can save a PDF to our client folders to keep track of all of our discussions.

Yes you heard right! It's no good blaming those January blues and putting things off.
If you’ve been putting off getting your VA business off the ground then maybe 2025 is the time to get started.

New Year's Eve is a time for reflection and if you're a business owner, make sure you take the time out to think of all the things you've achieved this year.

This year Katie and I are spending Christmas separately.

Katie is heading to her in-laws and Gemma is hosting our Mum and Dad.

Christmas Eve has always been an exciting time for us as a family. Even though the boys are a bit older, we don't lose the magic of Christmas, we still believe!!!

Asana is a great tool to collaborate with our clients and delegate tasks within the team. We have one point of reference to view all of our tasks for each day. It also means that if a team member is poorly we can pick up where they left off.

We also use Asana for mapping out our own social media and business strategy as well as tracking client projects.

As a business, we'd be truly lost without Asana.

Keep your workspace tidy!
A tidy desk gives you a clear mind. An organised workspace can improve your focus and motivation. Try to be as paper free as possible. Declutter, if you don't use something often, put it away. Sounds simple but it really helps me to focus, I can't stand a messy desk!
