Well Ladies, that was it, last night was my last ever Zumba class!
What can I say - it has been an amazing five years and I will leave with some great memories of you all, we did some brilliant routines (admittedly I went wrong more often than not, including last night) but you guys never seemed to mind! Luckily Kate, Louise or Emma were always there to put me right!
I can't thank you all enough for supporting me over the years and for the lovely things people have said to me since knowing I was stopping. I have loved the Zumbathons, nights out and festivals but I will miss the classes the most! A few tears have been shed this week, Zumba and you guys have been such a big part of my life for so long, what ever will I do now!

Well Done to all those who turned up today for the Zumbathon today - everyone did fab! Thanks so much for coming- so far we have raised £720, with more money to come in which is brilliant. Feeling better now after a hot shower, already in PJ's ready for pizza and strictly (rock 'n' roll)! xx

Stamford Zumba is fundraising on JustGiving for BBC Children in Need Help Stamford raise money for this great cause.

Don't forget Zumbathon this Saturday 1-4pm, United Reformed Church Hall. Come along and support the lovely ladies dancing their socks off raising money for Children in Need! Last practice tonight 6pm, same venue.

Hi, No class Thursday 5th November as Bonfire night - will be eating hotdogs and writing my name with sparklers!

I hope as many of you as possible will join in - it promises to be a fun event and is well worth the effort!!! Last year we raised £3575 for the The Myfanwy Townsend Melanoma Research fund, and it would be amazing to beat that this year to help Children all around the UK.

Did anyone leave a jacket at Zumba last night?

Just a reminder that Zumba IS ON this week and next week, the last one being Thurs 13th August before I am off for a week.
NO classes 17th - 21st of August.
Back week commencing 24th of August and then classes continue as normal except for the bank holiday Monday, the 31st of August when there is no class.
We also now have dates for the Zumbathon - whoop whoop!!!
Saturday November the 14th 1-4pm at the United Reformed Church on Broad Street.
If you haven't done one before, the idea is to get sponsored to do 3 hrs of Zumba. This year we re raising money for Children in Need. Nearer the time I will set up a Stamford Zumba Just Giving page.
The event is always great fun, and if you commit to a regular exercise programme now, 3 hours won't seem so daunting by November - 14 weeks and counting. It is also a good goal to have in mind - just before Christmas starts!

Only ONE class on Monday's now at the Rugby Club 7.30-8.30pm - hopefully see you tonight
