We’ve teamed up with Evergreen Care trust to run a Senior Swim session for anyone aged 55+.

The idea is pretty simple; to encourage people to get in the pool, keep active and enjoy swimming in a nice, relaxed environment.

It could be ideal if you know someone who hasn’t been swimming for a while, feels a little nervous about coming along, or would just prefer a slightly different experience to a normal busy pool session.

You don’t have to be a great swimmer and you don’t have to come with anyone just come along, get moving and enjoy the pool.

🌊 It's Water Safety Week! 🌊

This week (24th - 30th August) our lessons will focus on one of the most important aspects of swimming... staying safe in the water.

Water safety is a vital life skill, helping swimmers develop the knowledge and confidence to stay safe in and around water. Our activities link closely with the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) guidance, supporting children in understanding how to recognise hazards, stay safe, and respond appropriately in different water environments.

✅ Stages 2 & 3: Normal swimwear
✅ Stages 4 & 5: Lightweight shorts and t-shirt over swimwear
✅ Stages 6 & 7: Lightweight long-sleeved top and long bottoms over swimwear
✅ All swimmers: No goggles

📌 Our Water Safety Weeks are held every 5 weeks.

Next Water Safety Week: 28th September - 4th October.
