Ginette is one of the original SY students. Although she is more abroad in Hong Kong these days, whenever she comes back to Stamford she is loyal enough to buy some passes 🙂

Graham who I have taught for many years now. He recently celebrated his 70th. He is proof how yoga can keep the body mobile and flexible. He used to struggle with arthritic hip stiffness from previous sports pursuits but now is so much better ! He can settle into yoga postures that once upon a time would have been impossible. A great student and somebody who shares my love of cars - we often have a pre session chat about them and latest purchases !

This great yoga posture that is so good for the hips, back and shoulders. However it can be intense. A bit like like gradually immersing yourself in cold water - it may produce resistance at first. Bracing. However the body soon melts into the posture and the practitioner relaxes more and more and the mind becomes deeply immersed in calm. The body enjoys freedom and flexibility.
