Translated means kings walkway. It was classed as one of the most dangerous high-level walks in the world. Built in the 1900 and slowly fell into disrepair, it is the only high walk that has given me a 9 on the sphincter scale

Yea, finally after months of not been able to train properly, due to my injured elbow, I pushed it a little further each session and here we are. Did not think it would get better but it did.
It takes time, so dont give up!!

The group once again had a brilliant trip, even though it did not go quite to plan, the island is fantastic, great food, friendly people and mind blowing scenery not to mention the superb trekking and canyoning.
The weather let us down a little, but it did not stop us canyoning. Our guides from "Epic" were great, the canyon was like something out of jurassic park. Excitement and adrenalin was high as we abseiled and launched ourselves off several cliffs on our journey down the water filled canyon a truly memorable day.
The high level trek had to be cancelled due to bad weather and high winds, our alternative was a a trek along the Sao Lourenco trail a magnificent coastal walk.
Our departure was delayed by four days due to Easyjet who are we are still battling to get a refund, that's anther story.
Altogether a awesome trip, we will be back to the island in the not to distant future to compleat the high mountain trek.

I feel we are on the best side of covid so we have organised our first oversea,s trip for two years. Our destination is a beautiful Portuguese island Madera, this island is packed with fantastic hikes and loads of thrilling adventure activities like canyoning, coasteering and much much more. Fifteen adventurers are on for a thrilling trip. so keep tuning in
