One year of ROLPHSYIO!!! Wow I can’t believe it - I’ve been completely overwhelmed by the support since day one. Everything I wanted to create, I did and I am so pleased. Alongside my physiotherapy appointments, I’ve built a lovely community of regular 1:1 Pilates clients. I now have 30 of you attending every week, some who are managing a specific neurological condition, some working toward specific physio goals, some maintaining general health, and some just trying to stay strong as they age! Everyone has their own reason for coming to me: strength, balance, control, pain management, managing parkinsons, prenatal care, simply a love of Pilates and appreciating 1:1 guidance, the list goes on.
Some of you I’ve seen for just a few months before we got your condition sorted, others came to me a year ago for an assessment and have never left! I have had the best time meeting new people, learning and advancing my skills. So many clients have become friends, and I get to spend my days doing something I’m genuinely passionate about - helping you all overcome injuries or just move better through daily life. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve had the most incredible reviews, and feedback, and hearing “you were recommended to me” is the best!!
I’ve been quiet on here lately, honestly because I’ve been soaking up every moment of the work itself. I also don’t always like to ask clients for pictures/videos during sometimes difficult rehab, with different goals and challenges and honestly social media has taken a back seat as learning has been on the forefront of my mind. Every single day I learn something new about movement and human body and I love this job more than ever.
When I started ROLPHYSIO, I always planned to run it alongside my NHS job. But demand grew so quickly that I ended up leaving the NHS not long after, and now I get to work completely on my own terms. Which, more often than not, means working A LOT 😂 because I want to make sure everyone who needs an appointment can get one. We’re now one year in, with a very busy diary, plenty of funny and memorable moments, and so many amazing people I would never have had the chance to meet or get to know on such a personal level. I’ve also recently upgraded all of my equipment, and I’m currently studying for my further apparatus Pilates exam so there’s plenty more to come.
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me over the past year, recommended me to a friend, left a review, or simply followed along. It genuinely makes such a difference to my business, and I’m so grateful xx
