Fat loss is simple
People just over complicate it
It’s not about magic foods
It’s not about starving yourself
It’s not about hacks or shortcuts
Create a calorie deficit. Stay consistent. Lift weight. Move your body and you will lose fat
Simple works
Scales showing a massive increase after a weekend on the drink and crap food?
It’s often water weight, not body fat
Alcohol, salty foods, and extra carbs can cause your body to retain water, making the scale jump temporarily. Once you get back to your normal routine, most of that extra weight typically drops off within a few days.
Don’t let one weekend fool you—the scale doesn’t always tell the full story

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT 👏🔥
16 weeks done for Grant Nicholson and he has absolutely smashed it
22% - 9% body fat
Grant came to me to work on his physique ready for his holiday to Ibiza. This was the initial goal but during this time he has completely changed his look on nutrition and training and will continue training once he’s back too. With ideas of getting into Hyrox in the future.
Grant works offshore which makes it even more impressive. He tracks his calories/macros when he is home for 3 weeks. And when he’s on the rig for 3 weeks this allows him to have an idea of what he is able to eat and stay on track.
Whether he is home or away he gets every session done and constantly hits his daily steps of 14k as well as keeping hydrated and taking in 4L of water per day.
Absolutely insane transformation. Enjoy your holiday mate
Well done, absolutely smashing it. Keep it going

Life is busy.
Family commitments. Work. School runs. Always something to do
I hear it all the time:
“I just don’t have time to train.”
“I’ll start when I find time.”
“Work is busy right now.”
The truth is, life doesn’t slow down.
There will always be another meeting, another school event, another responsibility which needs your attention.
You won’t find time to train. You’ll train when you make time.
Not because fitness is more important than your family or career but because looking after yourself allows you to show up better for both.
You don’t need 2-3 of hours in the gym every day.
The people getting results aren’t the ones with the most free time.
They’re the ones who make time.

Don’t base your progress by the number on the scale alone
Your weight can fluctuate daily from things like water retention, stress, sleep, food volume, and sodium intake — not just body fat
The scale doesn’t show:
• Muscle gained
• Body fat lost
• Strength improved
• Confidence built
• Energy levels increased
You could stay the same weight and completely transform your physique
Use the scale as one tool, not the only measure of progress. Progress is also how you look, feel, perform, and live day to day 💪
