What an amazing evening celebrating a fantastic season for our incredible Coxhoe Lionesses Under 10s! 💙⚽🦁

We are so proud of every single one of our girls. Their hard work, determination, teamwork and smiles have made this season one to remember. From the first whistle to the last, they’ve shown what it truly means to be a Lioness.

A huge congratulations to all of our award winners—you should be incredibly proud of your achievements! 🏆👏

🩷💙 Coxhoe Lionesses - Community Litter Pick ⚽️🦁

Our lionesses took to the streets of Coxhoe early this morning to do a community litter pick! A strong squad of 24 grabbed their bags & pickers and set their target on picking up every bit of litter they could see.

It started fast and furious with the squad racing to collect as much as they can! Bags were filling fast and the park and surrounding areas were looking cleaner already.

We then headed into the estates and the nearby church to pick more up.

It was nice to see the support from dog walkers and the passing cars.

Big thanks to Coxhoe Parish Council for donating all the equipment we used today 👏🏼👏🏼

Midway we stopped at the Gem Cafe Coxhoe who opened specially for us and providing much needed butties for the onward journey!!! Absolutely delicious 😋

We finished our littler pick by heading to our kit sponsor Wing And A Prayer so show off our new kits which are looking amazing 🤩 massive thanks again 💙💙

Overall an absolutely amazing day, total raised up to now is £700 🩷🩷🩷 still time to donate to our go fund me page. Any amount big or small is greatly appreciated

Coxhoe U10’s Lionesses Vs NCJ Milan U10’s

I’ll start by saying simply phenomenal 🙌🏻 the girls were great from the first whistle to the last!!

Our pre match team talk centred around high energy, being strong but also believing in themselves on the ball and attack fast! Which is certainly what they did.

Rosie, Emma and Georgia were linking up well and did great for the first goal, Rosie turned and Emma ran toward the goal and finished it well. They pulled one back with a well worked goal but the rest of the first half belonged to the lionesses. Emma scored her second after another powerful run, Rosie smashed a penalty top corner. Scarlet was unreal in midfield both breaking up play but looking to play forward too whilst Emelia and Kaci were keeping it tight at the back. The odd time they get through Tink was also unbelievable in goal.

We brought Sienna and Evie Mae on both wings after 12 minutes and they both did great from the start. Pushing the Milan girls back at every opportunity but also tracking back.

Coxhoe went into the break well ahead but knew Milan could easily turn this round so we needed to work hard, keep concentrated but also push for more goals.

Second half Milan had their best spell of possession and were putting our defence and goalkeeper to the test but we stood firm with great and organised work from Kaci and Georgia and some more awesome saves by the Tink.

Milan pulled one back but the lionesses roared again and were just so fast on the break with Sienna, Rosie, Evie, Emma all bombing forward at every opportunity it was a joy to watch. As coaches we give them licence to be brave going forward it’s rewarding to see when we score so many good goals.

Sienna scored a lovely worked goal, Emma completed her Hattrick with another good finish, whilst Evie Mae smashed a cracking free kick in.

I know we scored a decent amount & the attacking work was unreal but credit to every girl, defensively confident and brave & Scarlett was excellent too.
