This weekend sees the Stanningley ladies face the league leaders Wakefield Trinity Ladies in the play off semi final. The game is one which Stanningley know will be tough, however the ladies will all pull on that shirt and play with pride and leave everything they have on the pitch.

Huge congratulations to the Stanningley Ladies, who battled past a tough Workington Town side last week to finish 4th in the league and book their place in the playoffs.

And what a season it's been one that’s been tough for the ladies. New faces joining the squad, a group of our own U18s stepping up to open age, and players brand new to rugby entirely — all coming together to get the job done.

Next up: the challenge doesn't get any bigger. League One leaders Wakefield in the semi finals, unbeaten across the entire season. It won't be easy, but this side is more than ready.
