Weekend Results😫

Unfortunately all 3 senior sides finished the season with resounding losses. Bradley Akrigg the only standout with a well made 56 away at Kirkstall.

This was the end of a positive season for the club however. The 1XI and 2XI were competitive on all fronts whilst the 3XI narrowly missed out on promotion on the last game of the season!

TEAM NEWS 😢

Here are our teams for the final week of the season! On Saturday the 1XI host Bilton whilst the 2XI head to Kirkstall 🚌 Both sides will be wanting to beat the weather 🌧️ and enter the end of season do with wins!

Sunday is a big day for the 3XI who head to Tong Park with the winner crowned champions of the league! A youthful but promising side will be hoping to get the job done 🏆

Weekend Results✅✅✅

The 1XI picked up a great win away at Saltaire! There were 3 wickets a piece for Stevie and Ben as we limited the hosts to 201. In response Hemsley (44) and Robinson (34) battled to set the game up for Adam Smith (52*) to smash an entertaining half century and ensure the win!

The 2XI got back to winning ways at home to Otley. Elliott Howarth (66) and Gary Owens (68*) continued good years with the bat. Ollie White (4-52) was the pick of the bowlers in the second innings as we got a much needed win by 15 runs.

The 3XI won to set up a Title Decider away at Tong Park Esholt next week. Elliott took 4-23 to bowl our visitors out for 119. Freddie Padgett (67) showed his class to take the game away from Bingley Congs.

The 1XI travel to Roberts Park to face Saltaire whilst the 2XI host Otley. The 1XI can leapfrog their hosts with a win!

On Sunday a youthful looking 3XI host local side Bingley Congs!

Weekend Results✅✅

It was two good wins for the club in tricky conditions. The 1XI racked up 320/6 against North Leeds. James Robinson (97), Tremaine Dowrich (89) and Ben Hemsley (53) did the bulk of the damage. It was too much for our visitors who were limited to 223 from a reduced 44 overs. Archie Cox (3-55) was the pick of the bowlers.

The 2XI got a much needed win away at Alwoodley. Max Harrison (67) top scored and was supported by Harry Wilkinson (37) as we posted 206/7. Their response never got going with Adam Hardwick (6-47) carrying on a great season with the ball!

Both teams are in a comfortable league position as we enter September.
