Waking up to views like this never gets old. 🌿☀️ Another incredible camp spot in Dorset. Such a stunning part of England - we’ll definitely be back. 🇬🇧🚐

Continuing with the roof rack organisation… 👌
Last time we showed the DIY Starlink mount we built ourselves. This time it’s our homemade Maxtrax brackets.
We believe you don’t have to buy every accessory that’s out there. If you can build something yourself, why not? It’s not just about saving money - it’s about creating a setup that works exactly the way you want it to, rather than adapting to someone else’s design.
These brackets hold the Maxtrax exactly where we wanted them, integrate perfectly with the rest of our roof rack layout, and leave room for the Starlink.
Sometimes building it yourself is simply the better option. 🔧
What’s one piece of gear you’ve made yourself instead of buying?

Where do you keep your sticker collection? We keep ours on the awning. 🌍🏕️ Every one tells a story.

A comfortable bed, a practical slide-out kitchen, and one feature we wouldn’t build without again - the ability to cook with the tailgate closed. Less wind, fewer cooking smells inside, and a setup that’s ready in minutes. Even better, the entire kitchen module can be lifted out and used anywhere. With the gas bottle integrated into the drawer, there’s no long gas hose to connect, no risk of kinks or splits, and no extra setup.

We completely forgot to show you how is our Starlink Mini mounted on the roofrack - using our 3D printed flatmount (available on our shop 🤩😉 link in the first comment). It is connected to junction box on rack, and via switch and fuse powered from leisure battery. More details soon on our website 👋🏻
