4-0 loss at home today ….

Weird game today boys, thought we played well, at times looked so good playing the ball around had chances to score just didn’t take them.
On the other hand 4 very avoidable goals, first goal looked half a sleep, second goal free header from a corner very poor marking, third and fourth goals giving the ball away and not having that desire to get back left us exposed.
Definitely wasn’t a 4-0 game last 10-15 felt more like a mess about than a football match.
Player of the match today CV brilliant with his one on one’s made some really good last ditch tackles and was always looking to play the ball so well done CV.
No training on Tuesday and no match next weekend so a nice week off see you again on the 7th.

WE ARE IN THE FINAL ⚽️⚽️⚽️
Fantastic today boys fully deserved to win that game.
Scrappy game you could see the nerves were on show but we dominated the game.
Luke or Mason don’t have a single save to make just catching practice, Mason used his hands more at the end of the match.
Couldn’t fault the boys they battled for everything first - second balls defensively we were superb so organised kept the shape and nullified there danger player who didn’t get a kick.
Ikenna ⚽️ right place and the right time to score the winner but the work from Georgie to win the ball back play is Oscar who’s cross was inch perfect for Ikenna to score, should of been out of sight at half time but a win is a win specially to get through to the final so proud of them boys today.
Let use this now as a stepping stone for the rest of the season 5 league games left and a final to play keep it up boys.
Player of the match very hard decision to make the whole team put a shift in but Ellis was everywhere today didn’t stop running won tackle after tackle so well done to him and all the boys.

The final is on Sunday 26th April, time place and opposition to be confirmed so please need everyone available so please put in your diary, calendar, sticky notes

3-0 win this weekend ⚽️⚽️⚽️
What an absolute faultless performance from the boys today.
Them 13 players deserve a round of applause for that performance.
We said at the beginning, they will have the ball try to play through you just keep your shape, press the ball and we will win, the boys executed it to perfection.
Luke and Mason made 1 real save each other then that 3-0 should have been 7/8, 2 cleared off the line 2 1on1s we should have scored from and that outrageous half volley from Luke that was heading in the top corner but for there keeper out stretched arm.

3 top draw counter attacking goals moving the ball quick and following the play to score.
The football at times was soo good to watch 1/2 touch passes that opened them up and they couldn’t handle it.
Back 3 Lewis, Matty, Cv as solid as thy come they won everything.
Wing backs Harry\ewan, Will didn’t stop running defending and then getting up to support the attacks.
Middle was the best I’ve seen all season Olly Ellie Lenny kept it tight all game swapping positions and being the links and support to Oscar and Ikenna up top who never stopped running an putting the pressure on and Luke’s little 20 minutes up top made a nuisance while others could have a breather,
A real team performance today so proud of them and made it even better it was against that t**t on the side line.
Player of the match such a tough decision but Martin and me had to give it to Olly he controlled that game from start to finish, orchestrated everything led by example an had a hand in all 3 goals fantastic from captain marvel.

Cup win on penalties….

Them boys love testing my heart rate.
Very Stella performance today from the boys.
First half very dominant, control the play, looked very dangerous going forward and very solid throughout the pitch, didnt allow them time on the ball made them very nervous at the back and should of been ahead at half time.
2nd half lost our way abit but that is where the defence stepped up and were like a steel wall couldn’t and wouldn’t allow them anything.
Absolutely threw everything at us but we wouldn’t back down and be broken a proper team performance backs to the wall, apart from pulling my hair out it was amazing to watch, and well deserved clean sheet.
Then on to the penalties heart rate up to 400 beats and hair going grey but we always have faith in them boys when it comes to penalties, there keeper didn’t get near any of ours and Luke guessed right everytime.

2 players of the match today really could of been any of them cv Ellis Oscar Ewan all playing with injuries but they all put shifts in, but me Paul and Martin couldn’t split Matty and Lewis they won everything, never gave up throwing there bodies at the ball to win tackle after tackle and header after header real team players.
Well done boys and thank you parents fantastic support as always.

2-1 win at home today against BSC Stripes…..

Superb performance today boys well deserved 2-1 win.
Them 11 showed desire, heart , courage and more today.
They battled for everything and the team chemistry in throughout the game and especially them last 5 minutes when fatigue set in an we had to defend with our backs to the wall was absolutely amazing to watch.
No subs today but it shows how good this group is, going 1-nil down but they just kept playing.
Apart from the first 5 and last 5 we dominated that game.
Ant ⚽️⚽️ but we could have and shoud of scored a few more.
Player of the match today all 11 deserved it massive team effort but Matty and Will stood out they won everything Matty organising at the back keeping it tight and Will just didn’t stop running on that left was involved in everything.

Well done today boys 2-1 win well deserved and on to the next round.
First half not the best performance but still went in 1-0 up.
Second half much better performance playing simple football created loads of chances and in the end 2-1 flattered ware.
Don’t really remember Luke having anything to do then Mason with that wonderful out stretched full dive save was the only meaningful save in the match.
Thats 3 unbeaten now, looking at lot more more our old selves.
Georgie ⚽️ lovely finish wrong footing the keeper got us off to a great start.
Joe⚽️ lovely pass from Ant and a death lob finish from Joe for the match winner.
Player of the match today even tho all the boys were superb there was 1 outstanding player and that’s will his energy in the middle was absolutely amazing, pressing the ball working back covering winning the ball was a real driving force today so well done.

Last training session on Tuesday hopefully see you all there.
Next week last game is away to Welwyn 10am kick off
