He lives in the moments of compassion, the strength we find in times of trial, and most vibrantly, as the love in our actions toward one another. Every gesture of kindness and every hand held held in support is a reflection of that divine light.

I love these words and couldn't agree more. I'm still practicing the awareness of the continual, unbroken conversation, but it's so worth practicing.

We often wait for a 'perfect' moment of peace to be present, but Brother Lawrence reminds us that the sweetness of life is found in the continual conversation. You don’t need to be in a cathedral to be present; you just need to be where your feet are right now. Take a breath. Listen. Our Beloved is here in this moment waiting for us.

Every moment in conversation with God is a moment of profound Love. And in the essence of brother lawrence, a life full of love is a life full of meaning.

This is the only purpose that makes sense. It might look like nothing, but my heart knows if it has loved well. This is the prayer of my heart, that I may love better. Especially those close to me. But to all the beingsthat appear in my world day to day, moment to moment. I can't do it, but I pray that it will be done through me.
